Trader Joe’s Thai coconut Pancakes $3.99

5/5, easy to prepare, delicious by themselves or with condensed milk, crispy/ chewy texture

Trader Joe’s Mushroom Ravioli $3.99

4/5, good portion, easy to prepare, strong truffle taste, would like larger pieces of mushrooms

Trader Joe’s Honey Walnut Shrimp $7.99

2/5, decent portion, batter too thick, sauce not quite the same, would like full sized walnut pieces, prefer the Panda Express version

Trader Joe’s Gnocchi alla Sorrentina $3.99

2/5, wasn’t a huge fan, might have overcooked it but needed more sauce

Trader Joe’s Pork Shu Mai $3.99

1/5, too mushy, decent flavor, tasted more like Filipino/ Americanized Shu Mai, easy to prepare [steamed]

Wei-Chuan Pork and shrimp shu mai [fry’s marketplace] $7.99

3/5, wrapper had good bite, nice larger pieces of shrimp, good flavor, easy to prepare [steamed]

Magnolia Pork Lumpia $9.99

5/5 Very close to Nans’ home-made lumpia, does not come with sauce

Magnolia Chicken Lumpia $9.99

4/5 A little more bland than the pork, but still very good, does not come with sauce

Summ! Pork lumpia [Costco] ~$6

3/5, flaky wrapper, sauce included was great with a hint of spice, better than the default Thai sweet chili sauce everyone uses, filling mushy, decent taste but not close to traditional lumpia, great value

All lumpia were deep fried [as they should be]. I have also previously prepared via air fryer and they turned out fine.
